note: the below show card is an actual show card for a horse owned by Sue Mohr. This is not the only, or even necessarily the best way to do descriptions. One important thing to remember is to not use tabs to space things out if putting something directly into an e-mail, as not all e-mail programs will read it the same.

Breeder’s notes: (mine) Poland is noted for many influential bloodlines for show horses, as well as race horses and Cyklon has inherited good substance and bone.

Halter Grooming/Tack/Turnout:
Cyklon has has his ear and fetlock hair trimmed and looking neat. His mane and tail have been let down from wrapped braids and combed out natural and free. He’s been washed and groomed and gone over with show shine, his hooves have been trimmed to within the 4 ˝” allowed with light shoes, and have been buffed to a shine. He’s wearing a grey rolled leather show bridle with throatlatch, with raise browband accented with white. It has no accents. The bit is a D-ring snaffle, and it sports a matching lead line.
Exhibitor: Nancy Paur age 35. She stands 5’7” tall and is wearing a white blouse under a medium grey tailored blazor with matching pants and boots. She also wears a matching cap and matching gloves. Her blond hair is combed back neatly and falls to her shoulders. She carries a short whip to help keep Cyklon’s attention.
Trainer’s notes: We have been working with Cyklon’s halter training for three months, along with pleasure and event training for longer. He stands balanced on all 4 feet well and quietly in training, and listens well to Nancy.

He is wearing a deep mohagany all purpose english show saddle with dark grey saddle pad and matching bridle with raised head and noseband, with eggbutt snaffle bit and 5/8” matching smooth reins.
Exhibitor: Nancy Paur age 35. She is 5’7” tall and has blond hair that is neatly combed back and falls to her shoulder under a black helmet. She wears medium grey jodhpurs and a black tailored jacket. Under the jacket she’s wearing a white blouse, and is also wearing black gloves.
Trainer’s notes: Cyk made the transition from a MSWing racehorse to regular riding fairly easily. He is relaxed and responsive with smooth gaits, and listens well to his rider. We’ve been working him for the past 8 months specifically in English Pleasure, with a little jumping and other events to add variety to his training and keep his interest in things up. He works well with Nancy and the two have the makings of a great team.
